Moore Aviation prides itself in providing excellent training in every stage of flight training. Our established programs allow students to move quickly through each certificate or rating, while maintaining the quality of training. Our superb instructors ensure every student can learn in their own way and at their own pace.
Private Pilot

Join a small percentage of the population not limited to earthly means of travel, and experience a world of $100 hamburger trips, pancake fly-ins, and quick hops to vacation destinations that would otherwise take hours by car. A private pilot certificate is the starting point for those aspiring to a career as a professional pilot.
Instrument Rating

It's a cloudy, dreary day on the ground. While most pilots would be limited by cloud layers and visibility, flying through the clouds is no problem for you with the instrument rating. Climb above the clouds and find clear, sunny skies above. An instrument rating can be added to the private pilot and commercial pilot certificates.
Commercial Pilot

Want to make aviation your career? A commercial pilot certificate allows you to be compensated for your flying, and is a requirement for any flying job. Build the skills and experience necessary to become the master of your airplane.
Multi-Engine Rating

Twice the engines for twice the fun! With a multi-engine rating, you can move up beyond single-engine airplanes into faster, higher performance airplanes.
Flight Instructor

Have a desire to share your knowledge of flying with others? As a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), the student becomes the teacher as you not only exhibit your knowledge and skills, but also learn how to develop the pilots of tomorrow. Becoming a CFI is a popular route for professional pilots to gain the flight time required for the airlines.
Recreational Pilot
Air Traffic Control students at CCBC have the option of obtaining a recreational pilot certificate to meet the requirements for the college. The recreational pilot certificate can be earned in slightly less time than a private pilot certificate. However, it is limited to day flights, one passenger (regardless of number of seats), and other reduced privileges that a private pilot can otherwise enjoy.
